Earth Day 2008
at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge

In partnership with Tarpon Bay Explorers and “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society (DDWS), J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge will host Earth Day 2008 on Saturday, Apr. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme is Reconnect: Earth, Family, Fitness.

Activities will include giveaways to the first 100 kids, free bike use, bike tours, wildlife programs, kayak rental and tour discounts, nature crafts, and free healthy snacks.

DDWS is a non-profit, friends-of-the-refuge organization that supports the Education Center, “Ding” Darling Days, and other educational programs at the refuge.
