Earth Day 2008
at the J.N. “Ding” Darling
National Wildlife Refuge Saturday, Apr. 19, from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In partnership with Tarpon Bay Explorers and “Ding” Darling
Wildlife Society (DDWS), J.N. “Ding” Darling National
Wildlife Refuge will host Earth Day 2008 on Saturday,
Apr. 19, from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme is Reconnect: Earth, Family, Fitness.
Activities will include giveaways to the first 100 kids, free bike
use, bike tours, wildlife programs, kayak rental and tour discounts,
nature crafts, and free healthy snacks.
DDWS is a non-profit, friends-of-the-refuge organization that supports
the Education Center, “Ding” Darling Days, and other
educational programs at the refuge.
